There are a number of ways to treat fertility problems. All require time and persistence. The main treatment options, which are individualised according to diagnosis, are as follows.

Hormone therapy with medication

  • Reduced sperm function
  • Immune reaction to sperm

Microinjection of sperm into the egg

  • (intracytoplasmic sperm injection, ICSI)
  • followed by embryo transfer into the uterus
  • Reduced sperm function
